- Puff Pastry – 1 Package (200gr)
- Chicken – 300gr (Chicken Leftovers and Cooked Vegetables)
- Eggs – 5 L
- Cream – 1 Package 200ml
- Oregano – 1 Pinch
- Black Pepper – One Pinch
- Salt – One Pinch
- Flemish Cheese – 6 Slices (Flamengo Cheese or any Mild Cheese)
Directions
- Remove the puff pastry from its package and arrange it in a pie pan, poke the bottom with a fork (so it will prevent the bottom from rising too much) and preheat the oven to 200°C (or whatever the puff pastry package recommends).
- If you haven’t already done so, shred the cooked chicken, pour it all over the pastry as well as any leftover cooked vegetables.
- Combine the cream and eggs in a bowl, season with salt and pepper and beat well, pour over the quiche filling.
- Cover with cheese and season with a pinch of pepper and dried oregano. Bake in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes until the dough and the top is golden brown.
