For me there is nothing more rewarding that making sweets at home, I feel that things taste better, are more fresh and overall more yummy, you have also more control on your taste and choice of ingredients, you can choose higher quality chocolate, instead of the cheapest or “good enough” chocolate that a lot of already made sweets use.

Also, you tend to use less preservatives, and you can customize to your taste, if you don’t like things super sweet you can and should cut on the sugar, making it at home is always best hehehe, so here are some of my recommendations of sweets you can and maybe should try at home!

Fantastic Sweets and Desserts to Try at Home

Japanese Souffle Cheesecake – A Japanese Souffle Cheesecake is a delectable dessert that is light, fluffy, and creamy all at the same time, this is a absolutely melt-in-your-mouth texture with a delicate sweetness, very Japanese… very delicious!

Spanish Churros with Hot Chocolate – A Spanish churro with Hot Chocolate is a heavenly combination of crispy fried dough coated in cinnamon sugar, paired with rich and velvety hot chocolate for dipping. This classic Spanish treat is a perfect indulgence for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Creamy Baked Blueberry Cheesecake – This is a decadent dessert that combines the rich and tangy flavor of cheesecake with the sweet and tart taste of blueberries. Its velvety smooth texture and creamy filling make it a delightful treat huhummm

Portuguese Chocolate Salami with Pistachios – A chocolate salami is a unique dessert that looks like a salami sausage but is actually a sweet and chocolatey treat. Made with cocoa, butter, and crushed biscuits, it’s studded with pistachios and makes for a perfect sweet!

Made with polenta, ricotta cheese, and citrus zest, it’s a unique cake/pudding that is perfect for any festive occasion.
