Here’s a recipe that came out pretty bang on, and I just had to share! We’re talking fresh Brazilian style fresh sausages cooked up in a bold, spicy tomato sauce and served over a nice bed of spaghetti. It’s one of those meals that sounds pretty simple but honestly hits way above its weight, and the first time I made it I couldn’t stop going back for more.
The real secret here is building up those layers of flavor. You start with a good golden sauté of onion and garlic, brown the sausages right in there, and then in goes the tomato sauce along with a splash of Worcestershire and a few well-chosen spices. A pinch of cayenne, some chili flakes, and a little sweet paprika give it a kick that’s bold but not overwhelming. Finish it all off with a knob of butter tossed into the spaghetti and a sprinkle of Parmesan on top, and trust me, it’s worth every single minute.
This is one of those recipes you’ll want to keep in your back pocket. It comes together fast, uses ingredients you probably already have at home, and the result is the kind of plate that makes people ask for seconds, thirds the whole shabang! Give it a try, you won’t regret it! Let’s check the recipe!
Fresh Brazilian Sausage Pasta with Homemade Spicy Tomato Sauce

Gotta love these quick and dirty pasta recipes, it just shows how versatile is a pasta and tomato sauce recipe, you kinda can have it any way you want it and it always comes down beautifully ;D

- Start by sautéing the thinly sliced onion and minced garlic in a frying pan over medium heat with a drizzle of olive oil until the onion is golden brown.
- While the onion is sautéing, prepare a pot of boiling water with a pinch of salt. Once boiling, add the spaghetti, stir, and cook for 12 to 15 minutes, or until cooked through.
- After the onion is golden brown, add the sausages and cook until golden brown on the outside.
- Finally, add the tomato pulp, followed by a drizzle of Worcestershire sauce (or soy sauce), a pinch of sweet paprika, cayenne pepper, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 10 minutes to thicken the sauce and finish cooking the sausages.
- Drain the spaghetti and add a knob of butter. Let the spaghetti rest.
- Taste the tomato sauce and adjust the seasonings to your liking, then serve it over the spaghetti with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top! Enjoy!

This is a super quick and easy recipe that you can easily make your own. Feel free to swap out the sausages for chicken, steak, shrimp, or pretty much any other protein you have around. And honestly, if you don’t want to add any protein at all, pasta with a good spicy tomato sauce like this one is still an absolutely delicious meal on its own.
Save a cup of the pasta cooking water before you drain the spaghetti. If your tomato sauce turns out too thick, a splash of that starchy water will loosen it right up while keeping all the flavor.
Don’t skip browning the sausages before adding the tomato pulp. That golden crust on the outside adds a lot of depth to the final dish and keeps the sausages from turning out too soft in the sauce.
You can of course also just add the pasta into the sauce if you want, I kinda like it separate for this kind of dish, but it works as well.
