So here’s the thing, I bought some bagels from the bakery and then completely forgot to grab any of the usual bagel stuff, you know, cold cuts, smoked salmon, salad greens. Classic move. So I did what any reasonable person does and just started improvising, and I thought, what about cream cheese and hummus? I know, I know, it sounds like soft on soft, creamy on creamy, and… well, yeah, that’s exactly what it is. But honestly? The flavor was totally on point, and it really helps when the bagel is super fresh and pillowy.
Now let’s be real, this is less of a sandwich recipe and more of a quick hummus recipe with a bagel situation going on. This whole thing comes together in about 20 minutes, and most of that is just blending. It’s the kind of lazy, fridge-raid lunch/sandwich. Let’s check the recipe!
