I wish you all a joyous Happy New Year! And of course an amazing 2026! May if be filled with all things salty and sweet and with all the people that love you! ;D

I think this year i made a big leap with a more steady schedule and shared some really yummy recipes, let me share a couple i reallllllly enjoyed!

Portuguese Easter Smoked Meats Bread • Folar de Carnes de Chaves – Cant have a nice Easter in Portugal without some bread filled with all kinds of yummies 😀

Traditional Portuguese Easter Sweet Bread • Folar de Portugal – Classic Portuguese Easter Bread, its really good, because its still very much a bread and not a cake, these make some of the best toast ever!

Easter Candied Caramel Almonds • Amêndoas Torradas – Classic, i kinda like these caramel coated almonds than the more plain sugar or chocolate covered…

Hawaiian Easy Salmon Poke Bowl – Gotta love the simplicity, this is more an assembly than really a cooking dish and its absolutely delicious!

Portuguese Style Steamed Mussels – These are the kinds of dishes that put Portuguese cooking on the map, Portugal has fancy cooking and complicated recipes, but we also have some of simplest, just cook well and season well dishes in the world!

Traditional Mexican Tres Leches Cake – Classic Mexican cake, its a bit of a handfull but the result is amazing, especially if you love dairy like i do!

Japanese Takoyaki • Fried Battered Octopus Balls – Another classic japanese street food, its not that complicated to make and its delicious, pipping hot delicious!

Homemade No-Churn Passion Fruit Ice Cream – Easy to make and such a versatile recipe, especially if you dont have a ice cream machine at hand.

Authentic Brazilian Chicken Croquette • Coxinha Brasileira – Maybe the most iconic Brazilian snack food, the coxinha is a tricky beast to master, but once you do… its unbeatable!

Authentic UK and India Chicken Tikka Masala – Classic UK/India fussion food, the tikka masala chicken is a uncomplicated dish that just needs some time and ingredients to create, but the end result is divine!

Japanese Sweet Strawberry Cream Sandwich • Ichigo Sando – Classic Japanese fruit sandwich, in this case with strawberries, if you go to any Japanese convenient store you will see these and you will want these hehehehe…

Portuguese Egg Cookies with Chocolate • Sortidos Húngaros de Chocolate – Another classic Portuguese cookie recipe, i believe these are called Hungarians just because in the XIX century it was common to call new sweets and dishes with fancy names 😀 The parisian, the berlim, the vienna hehehe

Indian Style Filo Pastry Curry Turkey Samosas – A variation of the traditional Indian pastry, a really nice crisp curry with some heat in a crispy package… oh yes please!

And so so so much more ;D but i think these are at least some of my favs, i hope you enjoyed them too and of course may you all have a wonderful new year! plenty more next year!
