How about make some sugar cookies in the form of a pink panda bear? Ok its not scary boohooo halloween, but stuff can be scary good too ;D Yes i know you need this cookie mold to make these, i’ve seen a lot of these and variations around, but of course you can make these with any cookie mold you want, a good tip is use like 2 cookie molds in different sizes, like 2 stars, 2 hearts, 2 flowers, and you can do the same cool 3D effect as i have here, the dough is a plain sugar cookie, so its all about the colors and imagination!
And yes yes you can make them scary, a splash of red icing will make these pandas bloody gory ;D I also like that you can change the pink dough with chocolate dough and make some more traditional pandas, or divine the dough more and make a rainbow panda… like i said this is a super versatile cute recipe, so lets get uhhhhhh crackin!
Pink Panda Bear Sugar Cookies

Classic sugar cookie dough with some chocolate as glue and filling, to make some cute pink pandas, just in time to warm any 12 year old... what! what!!! Merry Halloweeen!
Ingredients
- Flour – 160gr (With no Self Rising)
- Butter – 85gr
- Sugar – 80gr
- Vanilla – 1 teaspoon (extract)
- Egg Yolks – 2
- Red Food Coloring – 1/2 teaspoon
- Chocolate – 50gr (Darker Chocolate)
- Salt – A pinch
Directions
- Cream the cold butter with the sugar.
- Then add a teaspoon of vanilla extract, 2 egg yolks and a pinch of salt and mix again.
- Add the sifted unleavened flour and knead a little until you have a smooth ball of dough, don’t knead too much as this will melt the butter and you don’t want that.
- Separate the dough ball into two, flatten one and wrap in cling film, pour the red food coloring (food coloring goes a long way a little bit will make it pink, more and it will turn more red, so with food coloring, start with less and adjust) into the other, knead a little more until the color is distributed, flatten and wrap in cling film, refrigerate.
- After at least 1 hour, remove the white dough and stretch it until it’s about 2-3 mm thick, then cut out the shapes, in the case of the panda, cut out the blank parts of this dough, repeat with the pink dough with the pink parts, arrange on a tray lined with non-stick paper and return to the fridge to set.
- Preheat the oven to 170ºC, then take the cookies out of the fridge and bake for about 8 to 12 minutes, note that you want them pale, just starting to brown at the edges, remove from the oven and leave to cool on a rack.
- Then melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and use it as glue to stick the cookies together.
- Finally let the chocolate cool and they’re ready…. awwwww so kawaiiiiii!!!! bon appetit!
