Yay waffles, I borrowed my sister’s waffle iron machine and off I went all crazy on waffles, if you don’t have one you can always buy a waffle iron which is similar and you can make it on the stove, or if you don’t have both, you can always make pancakes or crepes it’s practically the same batter, this recipe is for American style waffles, soft in the middle and crispy on the edges.
For the more classic Belgian waffles you have to get pearl sugar which is used for those waffles, it’s a more granulated sugar similar to coarse sugar and the waffle batter has a slower rise with biological yeast, so its a different recipe altogether this is more the common American waffle recipe, its simples and quicker to make and i can say it’s pretty nice, belgian waffles are great but they are also a bit too rich and much, so let’s get to it.
