Muahahahah! For Halloween, I simply couldn’t resist creating an absolute disaster in the kitchen hahahaha! I chopped up some “fingers” and served them brutally inside mini hot dog buns, there’s nothing more terrifying, uhhhhhh ;D This grotesque creation will have your little goblins screaming… with delight! It’s the perfect fun and easy Halloween snack that looks horrifyingly realistic but tastes absolutely tastyyyy.
What makes these finger dogs so spine-chillingly authentic is the clever way we transform ordinary hot dogs into severed digits. The key is choosing the right sausages and giving them some strategic cuts to create that bone-chilling finger appearance. I later added fried onions, sweet pickles, avocado, and cheese sauce on the side to add, but for the photos (and maximum horror impact), they look better plain with just that blood-red ketchup dripping everywhere.
The kids are going to absolutely love this minimalist massacre hahahaha! It’s hot dogs, I mean it’s bloody fingers muhahahahaha, and trust me, once you see how ridiculously easy these are to make, you’ll be serving up severed digits at every spooky gathering. Halloween Bloody Sausage Fingers

Who needs real fingers when you can sink your teeth into these deliciously gruesome hot dog digits... with extra blooooodddddd! Put some cheese on top!
Ingredients
- Sausages – 6
- Mini Hot Dog Buns – 6
- Ketchup – As much as you like!
Directions
- The most important part is to find sausages that look like this. Usually, canned sausages are too round and have a paler color, so try to find sausages that are sold refrigerated in supermarkets. Many tend to be smoked like these and are therefore a little darker on the outside and have a more rectangular shape, which helps to create this finger-like appearance. For the hot dog buns, try to find small buns to give a better impression. If you can’t find any, buy regular ones and cut them in half.
- Then split the sausages in half, no need to cut them exactly in the middle, dont use a knife, to make them look like they’ve been torn off. Then, with a sharp knife, cut a protrusion to look like the nail and make a few small cuts to pretend it’s a finger joint. Repeat for all the sausages.
- Heat some water until it boils, then add the sausages and leave them in the water for 2 minutes until they are very hot. Meanwhile, cut the mini hot dog buns lengthwise.
- Finally, remove the sausages and arrange them randomly on each bun, pour ketchup over them, and you’re done! Ready to serve, Happy Halloween!!!!



As I mentioned above, this recipe tastes much better if you add more things to the hot dogs! So if you’re serving these, set out some small bowls with cheese sauce, fried onions, french fries, pickles, whatever you fancy to make these finger dogs more flavorful!
For extra gore factor, try mixing a tiny bit of yellow mustard with the ketchup to create that infected wound look!
These bloody beauties are best served immediately while the “blood” is still warm and dripping!
