Roasted sweet potatoes fries are a delicious and simple side dish or snack with a nice sauce to dip.
Ingredients
- Sweet Potatoes – 3 large
- Oregano – A pinch
- Paprika – A pinch
- Olive Oil – A few drizzles
- Pepper – A pinch
- Salt – A pinch
Directions
- Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into thick sticks (too thin sticks will cook too quickly and the sweet potatoes will have a different texture), put them in a bowl and cover with water.
- Heat the oven to 180ºC and prepare a baking tray lined with non-stick paper.
- Remove the potatoes from the water and dry them on a cloth or non-stick paper, placed them in the baking tray.
- Season with a few drizzles of olive oil, dried oregano, paprika, salt and pepper, toss them and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until they are golden and creamy.
