Hehehe, sometimes i gotta try it out! If you want a “real pudding” there are plenty to choose from on the site, but there is something nice and magical of getting that store bought instant flan pudding and add black tea, or make a pudding with coffee, so this time, lets go with honey!
And how did this honey came out? Well you can see it came out a little beige, hehehe, i put a bit of honey in the pudding and on the bottom of the bowls, but i guess everything just got mixed into the pudding, also i usad a very floral a nice rosemary honey, but maybe a stronger flavored honey might work better to have a nice color contrast…
In flavour it turned out a sweet little thing, with a hint of honey, so it was nice little treat, i sometimes like sweets like that not too sweet, but you want extra honey, nothing is stopping you from drizzling a bit more before serving hehehe, lets check the recipe!
Mini Creamy Instant Honey Puddings

If you like light creamy pudding with a hint of honey, this is the pudding for you!
Ingredients
- Instant Pudding Mix – 1 sachet (Of Equivalent for 500ml)
- Honey – 3 Tablespoons
- Milk – 500ml (Semi-skimmed)
- Sugar – 20g
- Honey – To Taste
Directions
- Start by mixing the instant pudding mix, 20g of sugar, 3 tablespoons of honey, and a small amount of the 100ml of milk in a bowl, stir well until everything is fully dissolved.
- Heat the remaining 400ml of milk on the stove, then add the pudding and sugar mixture, stirring constantly into the hot milk.
- Cook the mixture, stirring continuously, for about 4 to 5 minutes until it begins to thicken. Once it reaches this consistency, remove from the heat and pour into small bowls that have a little honey at the bottom.
- Place in the refrigerator to cool, once chilled, you can unmold and serve it very cold. Enjoy!

A darker, stronger honey (eucalyptus, chestnut or buckwheat) will give you a much more noticeable honey flavor. A mild honey like clover or rosemary will be more subtle, also i color.
Keep stirring while it heats, besides the pudding mix, honey and milk can stick to the bottom of the pot, so a whisk or a flat wooden spoon helps.
Put the honey at the bottom of the bowls before pouring in the pudding. If you unmold it, the honey becomes a little sauce on top, which looks great and tastes even better, even if like i said, it got diluted a lot ;D
Cover the bowls with plastic wrap pressed lightly against the surface if you don’t like a skin forming on the bottom, i would say if you are serving the pudding with more stuff on top or on the bowls, yeah, thats nicer, but if you are unmolding like me, i dont mind at all…
Add some fresh fruit, more honey and you got yourself a delicious fruity creamy dessert!
