Who doesn’t love a perfectly grilled ear of corn? Smoky, slightly charred flavour, with just a touch of butter, is absolutely irresistible. In fact, it’s hard to imagine a summer barbecue or garden party without it, i kinda almost wouldn’t call it a recipe, it’s so easy and delicious, you’ll want to make it any time of the year.
Grilled corn on the cob is one of those simple pleasures in life that never gets old. It’s a fantastic side dish or a satisfying snack on its own, and it comes together in no time. Plus, it’s so versatile! You can enjoy it straight off the cob or you can slice the kernels off and use them to jazz up salads, salsas, or any dish that could use a pop of colour, sweetness and flavour. Seriously, this is more a reminder to grill more corn than a recipe, but lets check it out!
Easy Grilled Corn on the Cob with Butter

Who doesnt love to just devour a corn on the corb, its delicious and fun!
Ingredients
- Corn – 4 Ears (Corn on the Cob)
- Sugar – 1 Tablespoon
- Lemon – 1 Tablespoon
- Salt – A Pinch
- Butter – To Taste
Directions
- Start by boiling the corn cobs, clean them (or take the husk and silks) and place them in a pan with enough water to cover them well, season the water with sugar, lemon and a pinch of salt.
- Bring the water to a boil over high heat, when it starts to boil, turn off the heat and leave the corn cobs in the water for 10 minutes to cook in the hot water.
- Then remove the corn cobs from the water and let them dry. While they are drying, heat a grill pan on the stove.
- When the pan is hot, add the corn and turn the cobs to grill and toast them well on all sides.
- Finally, remove the cobs and place a knob of butter on top of each one to spread while they melt, and that’s it! Enjoy!

I went with classic salt and pepper, but there are tons of pairings, how about lime juice and chili powder, garlic butter, grated parmesan cheese or mayo and crumbled cheese like in Mexico! ;D
