Nothing beats a beautiful ice cream on these hot summer days, and better than store-bought ice cream is homemade ice cream! I love these condensed milk ice cream recipes, especially because you don’t need an ice cream machine, just mix and freeze, there’s nothing to it. This super easy fruity ice cream uses the perfect combination of fruit and high fat content to keep it soft enough that you won’t need any special equipment, creating something deliciously between a gelato and a pure fruit juice icicle.

In this case, I had half a mango that I also added, but I’m listing it as optional in the recipe because who has half a mango just lying around? I’ve also adjusted the recipe to include yogurt because I thought that heavy cream (sweet), with condensed milk (sweet), with mango pulp (sweet) needed something to cut through all that sweetness a bit. I also left everything in the refrigerator, so I assembled this ice cream with all the ingredients nice and cold. Let’s check the recipe!

  2. Then add the yogurt and condensed milk, and whip a little more to incorporate everything.
  3. Finally, add the mango pulp and 1/2 finely chopped mango, mix everything well, and pour into a bowl or plastic container and place in the freezer for about 12 hours.
  4. Remove, and it’s ready to serve, plain or with fruit on the side. Bon appétit!
Notes: Make sure all ingredients are well chilled before mixing for the best texture.

The yogurt helps balance the sweetness while adding a subtle tang Fresh mango pieces add delightful texture contrast to the smooth base. Use high fat content yogurts like greek or skyr for added creaminess ;D

This recipe works beautifully with frozen mango pulp if fresh isn’t available. Serve with fresh berries for a beautiful presentation and extra flavour dimension.
