Easy Pizza Dip for Chips and Tortilhas


Fancy dunking some tortilla chips or toasts into a flavorful tomato sauce seasoned with loads of cheese? This quick recipe is perfect for parties. You can double it up to cater to a bigger crowd or whip up variations by switching cheeses or adding a spicy kick.

I call this a pizza dip, just because it kinda tastes like liquid pizza, it’s delicious, it also helps that i use a blend of cheeses from the melty mozzarella to the creamy Edam and the sharp tang of Parmesan are all very common cheeses in pizza, so let’s check the recipe!

Roasted tomato and cheese Pizza dip, perfect for any kind of party! ;D


  • Tomato Sauce – 250ml
  • Cream – 100ml
  • Mozzarella Cheese – 4 Slices
  • Edam Cheese – 2 Slices
  • Parmesan Cheese – Grated to Taste
  • Soy Sauce – A Drizzle
  • Balsamic Vinegar – A Drizzle
  • Sweet Paprika – A Pinch
  • Garlic Powder – A Pinch
  • Thyme – A Pinch
  • Dried Oregano – A Pinch
  • Paprika – A Pinch
  • Pepper – A Pinch
  • Salt – 1 Teaspoon


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare a small oven-proof dish or Pyrex bowl.
  2. In the dish, add the tomato sauce, followed by the remaining ingredients. Don’t mix; this allows the cheese to gratinate and develop richer flavors while cooking.
  3. Place the dish in the oven for approximately 40 minutes until the cheese is golden brown and the tomato is well-cooked.
  4. Take it out, mix everything well using a fork, and it’s ready to serve with tortilla chips, breadsticks, or any other snacks that pair well with a dip, enjoy!
Notes: Add more cheese! Swap out Parmesan for another hard cheese for a unique flavor spin. You can even spike it with a bit of heat by tossing in some chili flakes or hot sauce for an extra zing.
